Horsense is more than a horse riding program. It is an alternative after school program which engages children in learning about respect, responsibility and development of character. The five week long program is held every Saturday at MacDonald’s Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. Students will learn skills about making better choices with classes on drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Additionally, students will learn about first aid, desert survival, team building, basic riding, safety, and care of the horse.
Keeping Your Health on Track is a one week program that takes place at McCormick Stillman Railroad Park. Over one thousand 2nd graders will participate in learning stations, each tailored to provide interaction, entertainment, and education. The many stops include:
